Unlike emery boards, glass nail files can be repeatedly washed, boiled, and/or sterilized (isopropyl alcohol is recommended); you may even run them through a dishwasher. The files are hardened, tempered glass, which makes them highly resistant to impact; and should one break, the edges will be blunt instead of sharp. Comes with plastic case (shown).
